LL(Loveloop) is a project based on a looped excerpt from Philadelphia Story by George Cukor. The loop is a pattern for audiovisual arrangements questionning love (as an attraction / rejection mechanism) in its cultural (re)presentation (as a cliche).
The struggle between Cary Grant & Katharine Hepburn becomes an anecdote, a support to discuss cultural proposals, frictions that occur when they are confronted and their adequacies to various audiences.
LLs are “mashups” (amalgamating collages) that confront codes, modes and judgments established by systems of cultural classifications.
LLs question formulations based on a partial understanding of a complex system, by complexifying the access to meaning in a proposal that minimizes factors.
LL proposal aims to prevent mechanisms used to its judgment by the audience in this attraction / rejection mechanism.
